The flu season is at epidemic levels both in our state and nationally.
Please do not send your student to school if they have: fever, chills, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headaches, fatigue (tiredness), vomiting or diarrhea. Students are not allowed to return to school until all symptoms are gone and there is no fever. To prevent the flu: get flu immunization, good hand washing and keep hands away from your face, cover your mouth when coughing, get plenty of rest with a varied diet of healthy foods, drink plenty of fluids. If showing ANY symptoms of flu stay home until symptoms have resolved.
