This page is for seniors and their parents. While much of this information can be found in other locations on the website the idea is to have most of the information you may need in one spot.
Senior Newsletter or Senior Countdown newsletter as we now call it outlines senior information, events, dates and to-do's for all things senior related. The Senior Countdown will be emailed to all seniors.
Senior Last Day is typically a full school day that consists of the following: Senior breakfast, senior video, grad walk, assembly, and spring fling. However, these events are still to be determined as we receive guidelines for allowable activities.
Senior After Graduation Party - Class of 2021
Cap & Gown Orders and Rings & Jackets
Your Senior year arrived and graduation will be here before you know it. Josten's held a virtual webinar for the initial graduation order visit for their cap and gown, class rings, and grad announcements. You can also still order online ONLY or call Jostens (800) 922-7007.
To take advantage of the group pricing grad orders should be placed by December 15th, 2020.
Josten's will be on campus March 22 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm as part of the senior drive through to hand out graduation orders.
Be sure to check all graduation orders as soon as possible to determine if all items ordered were delivered and sized are accurate. If there is a problem contact Jostens @ 800.922.7007 or 253.851.9396 or email dan.sommerfeld@jostens.com.

Honor Grad Dinner - TBD
The 59th Annual Fife High School Scholarship Foundation Honor Graduate Dinner is TBD.
Letters of invitation will be mailed home. Please RSVP asap so the committee has accurate numbers for seating and meals. {*RSVP form will be linked as soon as it's available.}
Senior Award Night - TBD
Recognition for awards and scholarships is typically held in the Performing Arts Center at Columbia Jr High School beginning at 6:30pm. As we receive guidelines from the state and our district for in person events we will communicate that here. Appropriate attire for this ceremonial event is business casual.
ESPY Award Night - Cancelled
The ESPY's is an evening of recognition for our high school athletes, teams and coaches. Special awards are also given for Outstanding Senior Athletes. Join us (date TBD) at 6:30 pm in the Columbia Jr High Performing Arts Center.
Graduation Information - TBD
The Class of 2021 Graduation Ceremony tentatively scheduled for Monday, June 14th. {*This date, time and location is dependent on any restrictions that may be in place at the time due to COVID.} The doors will open at 6:00 pm. There is ADA seating available. Tickets are not required to attend graduation.
Graduation Practice
Attendance is mandatory. Caps and gowns should not be worn at practice. Practice is approximately two hours.
Graduation
Graduation is considered a formal occasion and in order to be dressed appropriately students should dress as follows:
- Gowns—Graduation gowns should be ironed before wearing.
- Shoes—please wear dress shoes, no tennis shoes or beach sandals. Girls should wear shoes that they can walk up and down stairs in safely. Some high heels are challenging footwear when students are experiencing graduation excitement.
- Shirts—boys should wear a shirt with a collar. Ties are recommended, but not required.
- Pants—Dress pants are recommended. Jeans or shorts are NOT considered appropriate.
- Students are not allowed to wear any accessories on their caps or over their gowns during the ceremony that are not provided by the school. Individual students who desire to wear accessories that have cultural symbolism must get prior approval from the principal.
Students who fail to comply with the above standards may have their diploma held pending discipline.
- Graduates and faculty only will be allowed in the lineup area before the ceremony.
- Parking is free at the ShoWare.
- Tickets: Fife High School does not require tickets for the graduation ceremony.
Class Act Portraits (253-569-1627) takes photos during the graduation ceremony. They will explain options during graduation practice.
Diplomas
Diplomas will be available on TBD in the counseling office at Fife High School (ALL books must be returned and fines must be satisfied before you can get your diploma). Office hours are 7:30 am - 3:00 pm. Student must be present to pick up their diploma.
